Displays of Initiative

Being an advertising creative can often feel like sprinting a long-distance marathon. It takes a bottomless reserve of passion, resilience and endurance. In between the day-to-day grind, last-minute revisions and tight deadlines, we’re also expected to proactively come up with ideas to ultimately build the creative reputations of our clients and our company.

When it comes to pro-bono initiatives, it’s truly a numbers game. Out of 100 ideas, only 1 or 2 may make it through the next of many subsequent rounds of stakeholder/client reviews to even stand a chance to see the light of day.

Here are a few initiative ideas I’m proud of, which nearly made it out into the real world. Nearly. Sigh.
