Humanising Tech

As the copy lead on Microsoft and Cisco accounts at McCann Worldgroup, I’ve literally written hundreds of marketing assets for these global tech giants. Video scripts, speaker scripts, eDMs, blog articles, landing pages, infographics, conversation ads, social/digital banner ads, top funnel, middle funnel, and bottom funnel. You name it. Chances are, I’ve written them.

More often than not, copy does the heavy lifting when it comes to many B2B/tech work. And with tech changing so fast, the learning curve was constant and often steep. But as a self-proclaimed student for life, it is one I’ve always taken with gusto to simplify the complex, speak human (not tech), and make it meaningful and useful to the audience.
